China May Set Up Forex Fund For Foreign Energy Hunt

Reports Updated at: 1150 PST, Tuesday, February 17, 2009
BEIJING: China may use its world-biggest foreign exchange reserves to set up a fund focused on expanding overseas energy resource exploration, Chinese media reported on Tuesday.

Separately, the government is looking at other ways to help finance Chinese companies to invest in, or take over, foreign energy firms, the China Oil News and other Chinese newspapers said. These measures are part of an industry development plan for the next three years unveiled at a recent National Energy Work Conference that looked at boosting China's oil and gas output. The China Oil News, run by the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), the country's largest oil producer, first reported the plans on Monday. It gave no further details about the fund or when it may be set up.

Global markets and Chinese investors are eager to see how the government plans to use its vast forex reserves, which stood at 1.95 trillion dollars at the end of 2008, up 27.3 percent from the previous year. The China Business News said on Tuesday that with world oil prices off record highs and down to 30-40 dollars a barrel, the fund and the other potential measures would ease financial pressures for Chinese energy firms.

How You Can Find and Choose the Best EA in Forex Trading to Dominate the Market No Matter Who You Are

Even in recessions there is good money to be made in the forex market. Not only that but it offers 24 hour trading schedules and greater liquidity. That's not to say that there isn't risk involved in this form of trading like any other. For this reason it's best to arm yourself with an EA in forex trading or a program which automatically enacts and ends trades by reacting to changes in the market.

30% of all traders are currently using an EA in forex trading as it is the most guaranteed and safe way to trade. Not every EA in forex trading is as good as the next nor operates the same, so here is a newbie guide for what do look for for choosing the most profitable and reliable trader out there.

The major difference between each EA in forex trading lies in how it trades. Some programs are more aggressive, going after any and all trades if there is a lot of money to potentially be made. These programs require you to check in on them from time to time, however, I've found, otherwise they'll get caught in a cyclical tough spot and lose much to all of their investments from time to time. Not ideal.

More conservative EAs, however, are more discerning in the trades which they initiate and will only do so if they are sure that they'll make money on a trade. A more conservative EA in forex trading keeps higher standards which a trend must meet before it invests, and the result is that these programs boast easily the greatest winning rates over other systems as well as their human counterparts.

Because of these reasons, a more conservative trading system is recommended for a less experienced forex trader.

I also recommend you go with an EA in forex trading which comes with a decent warranty on it. Anything over 30 days is both pretty much standard but also gives you more than enough time to test it with the option of getting your money back in full. You can test it without the risk by trading in a practice account where the program can invest virtual or fake currency just as a means of tracking its effectiveness and capability.

Why Forex?: Forex vs. Stocks

Remember that both stocks and forex trading involve risk. Forex trading is not conducted on a regulated exchange and as a result, there are additional risks associated with forex trading.

Though stocks were traditionally viewed as an investment, recent volatility and instability has led to stock trading taking on a more speculative role. Many stock traders are also trading another speculative market with many differences – forex. Instead of trading stocks of individual companies, traders are switching to trading currencies in the world’s primary market. Greater leverage, sophisticated software and strong market trends have led many former stock traders to explore the benefits of currency trading.

2006: The Birth of a Global Stock Exchange

Ten years from now the New York Stock Exchange's (NYSE) pending $10.2 billion merger with European exchange operator Euronext will mark a watershed in the history of global investing: the birth of the world's first global stock exchange.

Three years ago, the NYSE was the faded grande dame of stock exchanges and mired in corporate scandal. But CEO John Thain, the MIT-educated former Goldman Sachs banker, has since reinvigorated the NYSE. Nothing exemplifies this more than the NYSE's proposed purchase of Euronext, a deal that would create the world's largest and most liquid global securities market with combined listings of $27 trillion -- more than twice the size of the U.S. economy. With joint headquarters in New York and Paris, the new NYSE-Euronext would handle about $2.1 trillion in stock trades a month, double the size of rival Nasdaq.

While Euronext doesn't have a high profile in the U.S., NYSE-Euronext is indeed a merger of equals. Euronext is the biggest international exchange in the world and runs stock exchanges in five countries including France, the Netherlands and Portugal. It also runs the largest derivatives market (LIFFE) in the United Kingdom, making it the second-largest derivatives exchange in the world after Chicago.

Although it's the NYSE-Euronext combination that is grabbing today's headlines, it's not the only global stock exchange game in town. It was scrappy Nasdaq that set off the global consolidation frenzy with its a $4.5 billion bid for the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in late March. The Nasdaq -- thus far, a rejected suitor -- has since acquired more than 25 percent of the LSE. But there is no doubt that Nasdaq's moves have pressured the newly public NYSE to find a European partner, even though many thought that the NYSE, the world's premier brand, would have been a better fit for the LSE. Not to worry though: Although the LSE has become the destination of choice for international companies, NYSE-Euronext would be a formidable competitor to London.

Tips To Prevent Loss.

If you're thinking of getting into Forex trading then you need to be aware that losing in Forex markets is just part of the game. It is very rare for a Forex trader not to have losses during a week of trading.

The Forex market is very volatile and tends be unstable this makes it very difficult to predict. You would need to sit in front of your computer 24hrs a day 5 days a week when the market is open and watch every move the market makes to try and avoid any losses.

Here are some tips that can help to reduce losing in Forex markets.

1. The first thing is to realize that you will have some losses.

Every Forex trader has losses and once you except this and take it to heart, you will act with greater care to keep them to a minimum. The reckless traders who are over confident in their trading activities will lose a lot more when all is said and done.

2. Never put more money in when you're in a losing position.

When you find you're in a losing position, write off your losses and move on to the next trade. Let your bad trades die, don't think you can save them by dumping more money into them. Use them as a learning experience evaluate where you went wrong so you can avoid doing it again.

3. If you're using a broker give them clear instructions to close all losing positions

Make sure when you set up your account that you inform your broker to close any of your losing positions for you. At no time is there a good reason to let losses put your account into a deficit. Even a good broker may not be able to stop all margin calls on your account even if you have a predesignated point set to stop your losses so you may want to consider a Forex robot to do that for you.

Don't know what a margin call is?

When you create a trading position, you will be required to make a cash deposit – margin – which will be kept in your trading account. Each firm has their own requirements but as an example lets say you deposit $3,000 into your account, and your margin could be set at $400.

This means you can buy up to $2,600 in currencies to trade and if your losses reach $2,600, your trade will be closed this is designed to protect you from losing all your money and also protects the broker from investor accounts by keeping them from going into negative figures which they would have to collect more funds from them.

4. Always use caution.

If you're an inexperienced Forex trader, consider trading with the Forex market trends. New traders should stay clear of trying to predict the movements of the currency prices. Even the experienced Forex traders incur losses when attempting to do so. It's best to try and ride upward trends that are in progress, and leave the trade as soon as they move into their downward turn.

5. Don't get hung-up on loyalty type trades.

In Forex trading a loss, is a loss. forget about getting involved in any sort of loyalty commitment to a certain type trade. Forex trading is a very fickle and volatile market. and it is changing constantly. What worked for you yesterday, may be a flop today. Forex trading is never a place for emotional type trading; thrive on your successes and learn from your failures.

6. Forex is not a get rich quick game.

Ignore all the quick millionaires stories that is just what they are stories. To be successful in Forex trading and minimize your losses, treat it as a business. Plan on being in business for the long haul, don't even think that you can make a killing overnight. Jumping into Forex trading with the wrong attitude will cause you to lose more cash faster than if you take your time, applied good commonsense and adapt a business like approach.

7. Accept complete responsibility.

Don't rely on the dishonest advice from someone you don't know and could be a potential scammer, educate yourself on what you need to do to reduce your potential losses in the Forex market place. Always use your losses and every gain to increase your knowledge. This includes taking 100% responsibility for all your actions when things don't go right, as well as accept full credit when things do go right.

When you accept your responsibility, you will not fall into any kind of feelings that you're just a victim when the market fails to go your way. Just pick yourself up and learn what went wrong. Losses happen so don't waste time dwelling on them. They happen to every Forex trader and that's a reality. The good Forex trader learns from them, takes the time to understand them and then moves on to recoup their losses.

We have many forex trading robots that claim they are the best. Some of them are Fap Turbo, Forex Killer, Forex Autopilot, Forex Ambush, Forex Funnel, EMA, Forex Magic and the recently released Ivybot. I have tried a handful of forex trading robots, so I truly know which one works and the type that does not work. The fact is that the more forex robots are released, the more they are advanced and updated with recent findings and technologies. At the time of the writing of this article, Ivybot is the most current forex trading robots on board. There are some unique things in this forex trading robot which the previous versions of the FX trading robots do not have. One of them is its ability to update current market happenings. This is unlike the previous forex trading robots that was created and left to be used without making any changes or updates to it.

Currently, Ivybot is the best forex trading robot. I will quickly prove to you why it is the best out there. It has one of the highest winning among the other ones which I tried. It is because of its ability to adjust to current market conditions. Unlike other forex trading robots, it allows you to trade with up to four currency pairs. It is not just any currency pairs, but with the major ones. Most robots will only allow you to trade using one particular currency pair. But as for this one, there is handful of currency pairs for you to select for your trading.

This is one of the good things about this robot that truly makes it the best. It was created by Ivybot graduates. Not just graduates but people that have been trading and monitoring forex while they are in the university. This one feature alone shows the capability of the robot to deliver profitable results. Now that you have seen why Ivybot is the best forex software out there, you can try it out and see how profitable it is.

How To Identify Trend Line In Forex?

Trend Lines are one of the most common and powerful trading methods. They have appeared at the markets for centuries and consistently predicted reversals and generated profitable signals. In this tutorial we will describe how to identify trend lines properly.

Tip 1: Demand At Least 2 Bounces
Always demand at least two bounces on a trend line you wish to trade. A bounce occurs when price touches the trend line and bounces in the opposite direction. A trend line is only validated after price has tested it twice - and a trade may only be issued after the 3rd test and after price confirms the reversal.
The more times a trend line is tested, the stronger it is and the more powerful its trades will be. A line with 4 tests is much more reliable than one with only two tests.

Tip 2: Demand Strong Bounces
A trend line validity is confirmed with the strength of the bounce that occurs when price touches it. If price touches the line and retraces slowly it is a sign that it is weak and should not be traded. This shows the trader that the psychological idea behind the line is not strong and there is a high chance of breakout.
Always demand that price bounces with strong momentum when it touches the line - so its strength and reliability are confirmed.

Tip 3: Chart Patterns
If a trendline is a part of a chart pattern it can change the trading view completely. For example, one identifies a line, but When inspecting the general chart one sees that it is a part of a triangle chart pattern. This pattern is an unreliable pattern that is rarely profitable. The trader can now ignore the trendline without doubts and avoid the loss. Watching the entire chart and looking at the bigger picture can lead to different trading conclusions.
It is also advisable to confirm trades with higher timeframes - as sometime the technical constellation can be very different.

What Transaction Costs Will I Pay?

Although dealers who are regulated by NFA must disclose their charges to retail customers, there are no rules about how a dealer charges a customer for the services the dealer provides or that limit how much the dealer can charge. Before opening an account, you should check with several dealers and compare their charges as well as their services. If you were solicited by or place your trades through someone other than the dealer, or if your account is managed by someone, you may be charged a separate amount for thethird party’s services. Some firms charge a per trade commission, while other firms charge a mark-up by widening the spread between the bid and ask prices they give their customers. In the earlier example, assume that the dealer can get a EUR/USD spread of 1.2173/75 from a bank. If the dealer widens the spread to 1.2170/78 for its customers, the dealer has marked up the spread by .0003 on each side. Some firms may charge both a commission and a mark-up. Firms may also charge a different mark-up for buying the base currency than for selling it. You should read your agreement with the dealer carefully and be sure you understand how the firm will charge you for your trades.

How Does The Off-Exchange Currency Market Work?

The off-exchange forex market is a large, growing and liquid financial market that operates 24 hours a day. It is not a market in the traditional sense because there is no central trading location or “exchange.” Most of the trading is conducted by telephone orthrough electronic trading networks. The primary market for currencies is the “interbank market” where banks, insurance companies, large corporations and other large financial institutions manage the risks associated with fluctuations in currency rates. The true interbank market is only available to institutions that trade in large quantities and have a very high net worth. In recent years, a secondary OTC market has developed that permits retail investors to participate in forex transactions. While this secondary market does not provide the same prices as the interbank market, it does have many of the same characteristics.
How are foreign currencies quoted and priced?

Currencies are designated by three letter symbols. The standard symbols for some of the most commonly traded currencies are EUR Euros, USD United States dollar, CAD Canadian dollar, GBP British pound, JPY Japanese yen, AUD Australian dollar, and CHF Swiss franc. Forex transactions are quoted in pairs because you are buying one currency while selling another. The first currency is the base currency and the second currency is the quote currency. The price, or rate, that is quoted is the amount of the second currency required to purchase one unit of the first currency. For example, if EUR/USD has an ask price of 1.2178, you can buy one Euro for 1.2178 US dollars. Currency pairs are often quoted as bid-ask spreads. The first part of the quote is the amount of the quote currency you will receivein exchange for one unit of the base currency (the bid price) andthe second part of the quote is the amount of the quote currency you must spend for one unit of the base currency (the ask or offer price). In other words, a EUR/USD spread of 1.2170/1.2178 means that you can sell one Euro for $1.2170 and buy one Euro for $1.2178. A dealer may not quote the full exchange rate for both sides of the spread. For example, the EUR/USD spread discussed above could be quoted as 1.2170/78. The customer should understand that the first three numbers are the same for both sides of the spread.

What’s The Big Attraction?

Number one it does not cost a lot of money in order to get into the game and play the currencies market. Number two has a very low margin requirements which mean that Mom and Pop investors can get in without risking their entire life savings. The flip side is it can look a bit too easy and investors can sometimes risk a lot more than they can afford because they think their doing well.

You purchase one countries currency and then sell it for another, based on which currencies are trading the most profitably on the market and then hopefully, you will make money from the trade. Money from all countries all over the glob and their value is changing – or ‘moving’ – all day long, every single day of every single year, based on events that are taking place in that country.

The secret to Forex trading is to keep informed about these conditions and to know the best time to buy a currency and the best time to sell. If your just getting started in Forex trading, it may seem like a jumble of confusing numbers flashing on a screen. This is why many beginners find it smart to use a broker when first participating in Forex trading. As with anything if it’s not your expertise, you may just want to leave it to an expert until you have a good grip on what you’re doing and how the system works.

Successfull Forex Tips

If you want to be a successful Forex trader I highly recommend that you read this article to the end and apply the 7 Golden rules of successful Forex trading:

1. Never trade without a system - Many traders play by hunches. This means they're not really traders. They're gamblers. If you turn Forex into a casino, you will lose your shirt in the long run. Never trade without a system, it's the only way to generate long term Forex profits.

2. Never trade without an exit strategy - You should always know how you will get out of the trade before you enter into it. This way, you don't have to monitor the market constantly because you know how much you can profit, and you don't risk too much because you have a Stop Loss in place.

3. Don't trade with a high leverage - You can be a profitable Forex trader without going overboard with leverages. Remember, using high leverages also places you in considerable risk. Don't go over a 1:10 leverage.

4. Choose your broker carefully - You need to trade through a Forex broker which is reliable, easy to use, simple to operate, and which gives you low spreads.

5. Don't fall in love with Forex robots - Using automatic Forex robots is something which a lot of traders do and you can do it too. However, always work on your manual trading as well so you're not dependant on just one tool or program.

6. Make time for Forex on a regular basis - You don't have to trade each and every day but make Forex a part of your routine so that it becomes more like a business and less like a hobby.

7. Always learn more - The market is always changing so you need to continue investing in good Forex trading education to remain on top of the game.

There's a lot of money in Forex trading. Follow the above rules and you will be successful.

Foreign Exchange

Foreign Exchange (FOREX) is the arena where a nation's currency is exchanged for that of another. The foreign exchange market is the largest financial market in the world, with the equivalent of over $1.9 trillion changing hands daily; more than three times the aggregate amount of the US Equity and Treasury markets combined. Unlike other financial markets, the Forex market has no physical location and no central exchange (off-exchange). It operates through a global network of banks, corporations and individuals trading one currency for another. The lack of a physical exchange enables the Forex market to operate on a 24-hour basis, spanning from one zone to another in all the major financial centers. Traditionally, retail investors' only means of gaining access to the foreign exchange market was through banks that transacted large amounts of currencies for commercial and investment purposes. Trading volume has increased rapidly over time, especially after exchange rates were allowed to float freely in 1971. Today, importers and exporters, international portfolio managers, multinational corporations, speculators, day traders, long-term holders and hedge funds all use the FOREX market to pay for goods and services, transact in financial assets or to reduce the risk of currency movements by hedging their exposure in other markets. MG Financial, now operating in over 100 countries, serves all manner of clients, comprising speculators and strategic traders. Whether it’s day-traders looking for short-term gains, or fund managers wanting to hedge their non-US assets, MG's allows them to participate in FOREX trading by providing a combination of live quotes, and that attracts traders with an orientation towards fundamental and/or technical analysis.

Forex tradingThe investor's goal in Forex trading is to profit from foreign currency movements. Forex trading or currency trading is always done in currency pairs. For example, the exchange rate of EUR/USD on Aug 26th, 2003 was 1.0857. This number is also referred to as a "Forex rate" or just "rate" for short. If the investor had bought 1000 euros on that date, he would have paid 1085.70 U.S. dollars. One year later, the Forex rate was 1.2083, which means that the value of the euro (the numerator of the EUR/USD ratio) increased in relation to the U.S. dollar. The investor could now sell the 1000 euros in order to receive 1208.30 dollars. Therefore, the investor would have USD 122.60 more than what he had started one year earlier. However, to know if the investor made a good investment, one needs to compare this investment option to alternative investments. At the very minimum, the return on investment (ROI) should be compared to the return on a "risk-free" investment. One example of a risk-free investment is long-term U.S. government bonds since there is practically no chance for a default, i.e. the U.S. government going bankrupt or being unable or unwilling to pay its debt obligation.
When trading currencies, trade only when you expect the currency you are buying to increase in value relative to the currency you are selling. If the currency you are buying does increase in value, you must sell back the other currency in order to lock in a profit. An open trade (also called an open position) is a trade in which a trader has bought or sold a particular currency pair and has not yet sold or bought back the equivalent amount to close the position.
However, it is estimated that anywhere from 70%-90% of the FX market is speculative. In other words, the person or institution that bought or sold the currency has no plan to actually take delivery of the currency in the end; rather, they were solely speculating on the movement of that particular currency.

Exchange Rate

In finance, the exchange rates (also known as the foreign-exchange rate, forex rate or FX rate) between two currencies specifies how much one currency is worth in terms of the other. It is the value of a foreign nation’s currency in terms of the home nation’s currency.[1] For example an exchange rate of 95 Japanese yen (JPY, ¥) to the United States dollar (USD, $) means that JPY 95 is worth the same as USD 1. The foreign exchange market is one of the largest markets in the world. By some estimates, about 3.2 trillion USD worth of currency changes hands every day.The spot exchange rate refers to the current exchange rate. The forward exchange rate refers to an exchange rate that is quoted and traded today but for delivery and payment on a specific future date.Contents[hide]1 Quotations2 Free or pegged3 Nominal and real exchange rates4 Bilateral vs. effective exchange rate5 Uncovered interest rate parity6 Balance of payments model7 Asset market model8 Fluctuations in exchange rates9 See also10 External links11 References

Investments
Investment or investing[1] is a term with several closely-related meanings in business management, finance and economics, related to saving or deferring consumption. Investing is the active redirection of resources: from being consumed today, to creating benefits in the future; the use of assets to earn income or profit.[2]An investment is a choice by an individual or an organisation such as a pension fund, after at least some careful analysis or thought, to place or lend money in a vehicle (e.g. property, stock securities, bonds) that has sufficiently low risk and provides the possibility of generating returns over a period of time.[3] Placing or lending money in a vehicle that risks the loss of the principal sum or that has not been thoroughly analyzed is, by definition speculation, not investment.[4]In the case of investment, rather than store the good produced or its money equivalent, the investor chooses to use that good either to create a durable consumer or producer good, or to lend the original saved good to another in exchange for either interest or a share of the profits. In the first case, the individual creates durable consumer goods, hoping the services from the good will make his life better. In the second, the individual becomes an entrepreneur using the resource to produce goods and services for others in the hope of a profitable sale. The third case describes a lender, and the fourth describes an investor in a share of the business. In each case, the consumer obtains a durable asset or investment, and accounts for that asset by recording an equivalent liability. As time passes, and both prices and interest rates change, the value of the asset and liability also change.

Global Forex SA

Forex stands for FOReign EXchange and represents the mechanism by which the value (price) of a currency is established in relation to another. This value is called the exchange rate and the FOREX market is the market on which the various currencies are exchanged. The FOREX market was born because any economic transaction involving two operators of different nationalities has to pass, sooner or later, through the stage of the purchase and sale of currencies. Over the last twenty years, however, the role of pure speculation on FOREX has become increasingly important, to the extent that, today, around 90% of the transactions on this market are speculative.
